It hadn't been very long since the last scrap Sarah had found herself in, it was a damn near weekly event for the girl, but still, she had no better outlet to deal with the festering anger that always laid underneath her cool exterior from time to time.
She had arrived when she was certain her housemates had gone to bed. At least, she was pretty sure they had gone to bed, it was rather late and she recalled Amy had work in the morning.
As she crept through the house to try to reach the bathroom she heard a movie playing in Alex's room. Well, he did that a lot so surely it meant nothing, simply that he was awake, though it was loud enough she was shocked the other two had yet to complain.
She shook off the thought, though, just turning on the water to the sink and washing the blood from her hands, taking care to disinfect her cracked open knuckles. It was almost nicely calm.
Of course, this calm only lasted so long before she noticed a figure standing in the doorway, quickly spinning around to be face to face with Jessica. Her brows were furrowed with concern as she approached rather quickly.
"What did you do?" She asked, her tone harsh though the worry was clear in her face.
"It was just- Y'know- Someone pissed me off and I-"
"Sarah, you can't keep doing this."
Sarah took a moment, hesitating before nodding, thankful for her girlfriend's concern. She rubbed her knuckles before Jessica told her to sit on the edge of the bathtub, complying so she didn't upset her more.
She watched as Jessica grabbed a washcloth and dampened it with warm water, using it to clean the dirt and dried blood from her, resting her head against her shoulder for a moment.
It didn't take long for Amy to also appear in the bathroom, originally looking for Jessica since the three of them had been watching the movie blaring in Alex's room.
"Sarah! Oh my god, are you alright?" She quickly asked, walking over and grabbing the girl's face studying her for a moment before peppering her face with kisses. "What did you do? Are you okay? Who did this to you?"
Sarah couldn't help the blush that covered her face, just getting flustered over the two girls' worry for her, and that was only exacerbated by Alex's presence now, having heard Amy's statements as he had paused the movie.
"Y-Yeah, I'm fine, don't worry," was all she was able to say, watching Jessica toss the used rag into the dirty clothes hamper before covering a few of the injuries in bandages.
"You feeling better now?" Alex finally chimed in, looking away from the three though clearly looking like he felt left out, earning a giggle from Amy.
"Um, yeah… Yeah." It wasn't a lie, how could Sarah not be happy with her girlfriends worried for her like this? After a shitty day, she couldn't help but adore being cared for.
"Good… Good… Let's get back to the movie, it was finally getting good
That earned a laugh from Jessica before Sarah asked a quiet question.
"Can I join?"
"Uh, no shit," Amy quickly responded before grabbing Sarah's hand, dragging her to Alex's room as the other two followed.
And so Sarah found herself between Amy and Jessica, curled up for the night with a movie playing. Right, life may have been rough, but she always had these three to lean on.
